Jay Murray – CEO/Care Manager

Jay Murray

Jay was born and raised in rural northern Iowa and received a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from the University of Iowa in 1990. He has worked in Health Services for the last 6 years, after working as a commercial loan officer and financial services representative for more than 20 years. His responsibilities at Prairie Rose include developing relationships with families of locally situated persons in need of services and spending sufficient time with them to determine their loved ones’ needs and concerns, then carefully drafting individualized written care plans that would safely allow their family member to remain as independent as possible.

Jay has expertise in dealing with the array of services available to people living in Eastern Iowa. He is very familiar with eligibility requirements for Veteran’s Administration benefits and can recommend and inform about VA programs that many veterans and their families are often unaware of. Jay lives in North Liberty with his wife and three daughters. In his spare time he enjoys coaching girls’ fastpitch softball, playing golf, and making music on his guitar.
